Advocacy Committee

The Advocacy Committee will be available for families facing discrimination, segregation and other issues effecting their loved one(s) with Down syndrome. While not a legal entity and unable to offer legal advice we work with local Government entities to find the answers families seek.

The Committee hopes to assist families navigating issues within education, workplace and beyond. If you or someone you know has experience in advocacy rights and is interested in joining our committee, please reach out to Lena Armstrong-Strober at advocacy@rgdsn.org.
