Laurie Magovern - President
Laurie started with the RGDSN board in 2016 and is starting her second year on the board. She is the curator of education at the Balloon Museum in Albuquerque, NM. She has a 7 year old daughter with Down syndrome and a 12 year old son and 10 year old daughter.
Trish started with the RGDSN board in 2016 and starting her second year on the board. She is a Pharmacist at SRMC. She has a 5 year old with Down syndrome and a 7 year old daughter. She lives a pretty typical life with the girls enjoying swimming, horse back riding, gymnastics, and Girl Scouts. She enjoys running, workouts (Crossfit, when she can),and crafting. She has learned that we all have special abilities. Despite her fears otherwise, she has been blessed to see all the good this world has to offer.
Christian is starting his first year with the RGDSN board. He is an Auditor for the Department of Energy Office of the Inspector General. He has a 5 year old with Down syndrome and a 7 year old daughter.
Jeannine Miller Barreras
Jeannine is starting her first year witht he RGDSN board. She is the co-owner of Miller's Insulation. She has a 9 year old son with Down syndrome. She is excited to help the network in any way possible. She hope's her business background, connections in community and engergy will add new facet to the network.
Maggie has been with the RGDSN board since 2009. She work for a local law-firm. All individual's with Down syndrome are special to her. She has a wealth of knowledge about the organization and community and helps to bridge the gap daily.
Felicia has been witht he RGDSN board since 2013. She has a son with Down syndrome and a daughter. She helps to organize the U5 playgroup and coordinates the welcome baskets and all new families with children with Down syndrome.
Billy Thiebaut - Program Coordinator
Since April of 2016, Billy has been helping to coordinate programs for RGDSN. He is an educator and coach in Albuquerque Public Schools. He has a 7 year old daughter with Down syndrome and a 12 year old son and 10 year old daughter.
