DDW Unit Monthly Feedback - August

The DDW Unit will be hosting a monthly feedback forum to present and accept feedback on draft chapters of the DD Waiver Services Standards which are planned for reissue in January 2018.  Below is a list of chapters that will be reviewed.  These draft chapters have been posted on the ACT website.  Please go tohttp://www.actnewmexico.org/ddw-renewal.html to review these chapters.  There will be a limited amount of hard copies available at the meeting.  Please download the draft chapters to your mobile device or print copies, if possible.  The Feedback Forum will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Bank of the West, 5301 Central Ave, 17th floor conference room, Albuquerque, NM.  This meeting is intended to take place in person for most effective discussion but a Skype link is available for your convenience as well.

CDD - Partners for Employment Program Information Announced

Partners for Employment is a collaborative approach to increasing employment outcomes for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Our partners include the University of New Mexico, the Department of Health Developmental Disabilities Supports Division and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.

The primary goal for Partners for Employment is to build capacity within the state of New Mexico among state agencies personnel, service providers, family members, self-advocates, employers and other supports.
